Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 July 2026

Ngobe Capital and Advisory (Pty) Ltd ("Ngobe Capital", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and Namibian data protection requirements.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp, we receive the details you provide: typically your name, email address, organisation, and message.
  • Analytics data, only with consent. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect usage data through Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity: pages visited, approximate location, device type, and interaction patterns. IP addresses are anonymised. If you reject analytics cookies, none of this is collected.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request time) for security and reliability.

Why we process it

  • To respond to your enquiry or consultation request (legitimate interest and steps prior to entering an engagement).
  • To send you the Ngobe Insights newsletter, only where you have subscribed, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it (consent).
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and professional obligations that apply to a financial advisory firm.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our instructions (hosting, email, form processing, analytics), with professional advisers where necessary, and with authorities where the law requires it. Some providers process data outside Namibia and South Africa; where they do, we rely on their standard contractual safeguards.

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per the default retention settings of the tools listed above.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@ngobecapital.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including the Information Regulator (South Africa).
